After four weeks it was time for me to hop on the plane and head towards England and Manchester Airport..
There was couple of difficulties on the way since I had already booked my trip to Athens to catch up with my friends and my flights couldn't be changed.. Annoying! Eventually I paid them tickets for nothing.. It was my last holidays of the year and this was my only chance to meet his parents so I had to go to England. The biggest reason was that we had agreed on him moving to Finland and I felt like it was my duty to go meet his parents so that they'd know where his son was going and to whom.
Last two week of holiday in front of me and I was so excited! One week in England and second week in Athens!
Steve and her sister and mom picked me up from the airport and I was so nervous to meet them! At first they talked to me like I was 10 or so cause they didn't know how good or bad my English was.. We drove to Manchester somewhere in the center and went to wander around and eat together. Here are some pics of Manchester.
Huddersfield is around 40-45 min drive away from Manchester and on the way there we started seeing familiar scenes from Emmerdale like he had said! Actually it has been filmed only 20 minutes where they live. It was so pretty and also so different!!
On the next morning Steve had to leave for work and I had quarenteed that I wont get lost.. And I didnt! It was beautiful weather so I decided to walk to Huddersfield which took me around an hour. They had warned me not to walk because some neighbourhoods were a bit rough. The houses were beautiful!
I wandered around and walked a lot! It wasn't too big so I soon remembered the streets around. I found this cute little coffee place!
As England is famous from it's pubs I went to hang out in "Warehouse" to wait for Steve to get off from work. :)
Evening walk around Rastrick, my country man? ;)
The next morning Steve left for work again and I headed towards Halifax for a day trip. I also visited Sowerby bridge, where I got a bad phone call telling me that I didn't make it to the national team.. :(
Wandering around Huddersfield I was shocked at how big people were there! And so many teenager moms!! Unbelievable! Shocking! I was once sat in Subway to have a bite to eat and outside there wear five girls max 16 years old and ALL of the had kids! In Huddersfield center there was also a shop that sold only frozen food!!! Alson in supermarkets everything was big packages! 3 for the prize of 2.. Buy this and you get this also, just making people to buy more than needed and obviously eat all.. Whaat.
After Steve got of from work we met at his mom and dad's and took showers and left out with couple of his friends. We ended up with this place where they had always gone when they were young. To Acca in Halifax with cheapest beer and shots etc. Me and four boys out drinking shots, how on earth did I survive?! I had a brilliant night!! At one point this song Oops Upside your head and everyone went to sit on the dancefloor, which is not sticky and full of beer like in Finland.. And everyone sang and sat there and did these funny things on the floor on rows. :D Awsum!
The next morning I wasn't feeling good at all. At all. Terrible hungover. Day trip to York with Steve's parents, sister and her boyfriend. Brilliant. I somehow survived because I just had to York is sooo beautiful old fashioned city! Loved it! With all small streets, gost houses and them pubs!
The next day it wasday trip time to Leeds. We just wandered around and went to pub thi watch Manu game.

Week went so fast and then it was time to say moikka for five weeks and then Steve would be moving to Finland with me (and my parents..)
I was sad and of course I cried at the airport but at the same time I was looking forward to seeing my friends in Athens! <3
