Bulgaria, Golden Sands ´09. PART 3

By Saturday we were really tired for staying up late and drinking.. So we slept a lot on that day and just took it easy hanging with great people and enjoying the sun and holiday. In the evening me and Saija went to a Foam party and visited a disco called Papaya but it wasn't as good as the first night's party we went.. After couple of hours we decided to go to sleep. :)

On Sunday it was the last day with German boys, we hang with them by the pool and me and Saija started our morning with the same routine we had almost every day. :) Then it was again the Beach party night. We don't understand how the people who organize the partys can handle all the drinking and staying up late for the whole tourist season!? The party was great and I hang around with one very nice German guy talking about everything. :) Great great day! :)

 

On Monday morning the German boys left home and we wanted to cheer ourselves up and went to do our last shoppings! :) We had been trying to sunbathe for six days, we were bored with that so we just took it easy for the day (again..) ! Since it was our last night we wanted to go out and have some good food to eat, some good meal in a good restaurant.. We went to this amazing looking big ship on the beach.. I ordered some nice chicken meal and here is a pic of what I got.. You can only imagine our faces when the waitress brought my meal.

I went to sleep at 20.30 that night.. I know, I know last night and all but I just couldn't get myself up from the nap.. Saija went out for a while with the girls! Next morning it was time to pack our bags! That was actually quite difficult 'cause we had shopped a lot! :D The trip to home was nice and we had nice company from the other finnish people! ;)

That was our first trip abroad! The first time abroad without parents, the first time trying how we can survive somewhere other than Finland! We did great and we had the best time and we laughed so much during that one week!! Here is a link to a song which was totally THE SONG on this trip!

Bulgaria, Golden Sands ´09. PART 2

The next morning we woke up after sleeping not so many hours and headed to breakfast which was a positive surprise for us. :) We spent the day at the beach and hanging at our swimming pool :) We got to know some Finnish girls who were our neighbours in the hotel and also some German guys from the hotel. In the evening we found the best coctail bar ever! The drinks were awesome and CHEAP! We had a great time hanging in that coctail bar and Saija also showed me that she hadn't learnt anything in geography lessons! :D One guy game to talk with us and he told us that he was from Germany to which Saija responded: " Oh, I've been in Oslo!".. I tried hard not to laugh and the guy made a quick exit.. This evening it was time for a Beach party. The party was nice and it was really warm at night and yet again we didn't sleep that much. :D

The next morning (thursday 16th) we woke up feeling not so good but we had made up our minds and our plan was to get on the morning bus towards the city of Varna to shop! We were tired, hangover and we forget the map of Varna in our hotel so we had a great time laughing and getting lost in the city! :D We found some good places to shop clothes which were also cheap. :) We didn't do much sightseeing but we saw some sights along the way for example the Cathedral. It took some time before we found a bus back to the tourist area... In the evening it was a Pub Crawl night and it was raining and cold! It was about going to six bars in a night and I made into two of them and then I was too tired and had to get some sleep. Saija continued the night with our new Finnish girlfriends :)

By the next day we had already our own pattern for the day: breakfast --> beach --> to the swimming pool and eat some light salad --> hanging by the pool --> nap time --> getting ready for the night --> eat --> somewhere to party. :) The day was nice and we had a great time. Except that we had to go to a doctor because Saija's eyes were sensitive from the sun and dripping water all the time! She got some eyedrops and we bought her sunclasses. Oh, and the doctor and plenty of other people thought we were sisters! I got a henna tattoo in the evening and we did some shopping. :) I went early to bed and Saija went out with girls to check the big Arrogance bar. When  they got back to the hotel they woke me up and we decided to go for a secret moonlight swim in the pool with german guy and girls!

 The song for the journey!

We started our trip to Golden Sands on 14th of July at 6 am.. It was a bit strange feeling to go with other Finnish people since it was my first trip abroad with travel agency! The first thing we noticed that we were the only ones getting off the bus at Vladislav hotel.. The elevator didn't work and the piccolo guy tried to get money from us without even carring our bags! :D Our hotel room was nice and then we went out to get to know the place and get something to eat since we were starving! Our hotel had two swimming pools so guess where we went after eating!? We found ourselves checking out four hot German guys and sunbathing and drinking ice cold Breezers.. We bought tickets to the evening's Foam Party which was actually held in our hotel and its swimming pool area.. We could basically forget about trying to get any sleep that night! :D First night out and even I was doing my hair and make up... We had been in the party for about an hour and someone pushed me into the swimming pool with all my clothes on....!! So much for the make up and hair.. Saija couldn't do anything but laugh! Next morning Saija woke up without her flipflop (I couldn't do anything but laugh!) which we eventually found from the swimming pool..
