On Saturday I did nothing! I wasn't feeling that well since my flu really started that day (and I still think it gets worse every day!). At some point of the day I opened up my computer and the virus was gone! :D I know nothing about computers but I was confused.. :D
On Sunday my finnish friend's greek boyfriend came to take a look at my computer and fixed it once and for all! Thank god. I was really miserable without my computer. I'm really dependable on it. I had absolutely nothing to do when it didn't work!
Around 2 pm people started coming to our place since my flatmate had created an event to facebook: Movie Marathon: the lord of the rings. All three movies and their extended versions! They started around 3pm and the last movie started around 1 am.. so they must have watched it until 4 am or something! I went to bed around 11 pm and I watch maybe half of the first movie. I really don't like them.. :D
On Monday me and the other finnish girl Miina (who is from Joensuu and whom I only met here in Greece) left to our school to eat for the first time and after that it was the info of our language course! I'm so excited! It's either on Tuesdays and Wednesday from 2-4pm or on Monday 3-5 pm and Thurdays 5-7pm or something like that. The teacher actually wasn't quite sure herself.. The food at the school was okey and the portions were big. I would really save some money if I would eat there once in a while.
In the evening me and lots of other girls headed to Brettos to spend time to celebrate my neighbourgh Anais' birthday! :) We took the last metro home at midnight while most of them still decided to stay.
On Tuesday I went to the school by myself to eat and then to the language course. The first lesson was really boring for me since we only went through the alphabet. Of course the teacher told other stuff too, like words, which most were new to me. But still I felt really good that I already knew things. :) After that I just went to bed to watch series from computer while freezing, coughing and blowing my nose..
On Wednesday after sleeping not so many hours since my throat hurt so badly I woke up before 7 am to get ready for my first practical training day at the Attiko Hospital. The way there took over an hour! I had to take a metro and a bus which I waited for around 25 minutes! I got off at the right stop since I saw the huge hospital. It actually seemed really new and modern. The lobby was huge, it had at least 4-5 different corridors departing from the lobby. It took me ages just to find to the right elevators. From a big board on the wall I could read that the physical therapy department was either on -1 or -2 level. Then, by coincidence, I found some other physiotherapy students and I found the supervisor of mine. We sat on some gym and the woman explained everything, in greek.. When the woman left somewhere for a while the other students where so nice to me and asked tons of questions! Apparently the supervisor is really strict and you need to know lots of stuff!
Couple of pics of the hospital
My new classmates gave me a ride to the school where I went to eat and at the queue I met other Erasmus people! :) We had lunch together and headed to language class :) Where I was on fire!!! I know more stuff than I give credit to myself! It was fun! :)
In the evening I had really planned on going to the two parties by Athensmus and ESN but I was too tired and I felt too sick to be going anywhere! Instead I stayed at bed and watched series online. Later that I had a good time catching up with old friends living abroad! :)

Today I finally got some good sleep and I slept rather well! :) I had a date with the finnish girl Miina to meet at her practical training place since the physiotherapists there had invited me there to observe! It was children's intensive care unit and it was really interesting to see! In Finland we don't have that kind of opportunity to see places like that. It was nice but also really sad to see the children like that. :/ For example, there was this 3 months old baby which was not doing well at all. :( He was on the edge of his life. All the tubes and stuff around him. :/ But, I'm glad I had to opportunity to see ICU! :)
Today we also decided with Miina to go to a weekend trip to Poros! THIS GIRL IS GOING TO HER SECOND HOME! We leave tomorrow morning at 9 am and come back in Sunday evening! :)
Random stuff that has caught my eye!
- Kisses. When people meet they kiss each other to the cheeks, first on the left one then the right one. Still I haven't got used to that one! So weird to go kissing some strange guys when I meet them! And also when I meet other Erasmus people from France they kiss first to the right cheek and then to the left one. I constantly have to remember where the people are from, so I'm really not comfortable with that one yet..
- Everything here has a meaning and history. Every word, name, metro station, statue, EVERYTHING has a history. All the metro station's names has some kind of meaning. The common names here mean something etc.. Like the name viki means victory.
- The school's canteen! Oh my god the noise there is crazy! It's so loud there that you have to almost yeall to get your voice heard. And people doesn't even notice it! :D
- Guys at the school (also in general) in my opinion has more piercings than in Finland the guys have!
- Mostly girls but also many guys are not that tall her. I feel like average at the school! :)
