On Thursday morning I managed to get myself up rather yearly and took a taxi to a GYM! I was so proud of myself and I had even talked Emilie to come with me. I found the place with the help of google (of course) ;). It was located in this huge shopping mall and it opened at 10 am, so we went for a coffee for one hour to wait for it to open.
I enjoyed the gym so much! It was rather old school and shitty but somehow just perfect. After we went to eat some local thai food. And I finally got to taste the delicious mango and sticky rise! It was so goooood!!! After eating and the gym we were suddenly tired so there was this inner yard where we went to take a little rest for 45 minutes or so. Then it was time for a massages again and this time it was just a feet massage. It was so relaxing that I actually fell asleep! :D In this place too (like everywhere in Thailand!!) the air condition was on so cool, even freezing, that my throat hurt so much. It got dry and almost the whole trip my throat was sore and I struggled even having a voice.
Then it was time for some coffee and wifi at this nice place. After I checked out from my hostel we headed to Emilie's hostel to hang around. We decided to go and check this day market full of different kinds of fruits most of which I had never even seen nor heard of!! They were delicious tho! We found this Chinese temple site, near the river and the market, where we went to enjoy our afternoon fruit lunch. In the evening went back to this night bazaar where we had previously visited quickly. I haggled myself a pair of nike shoes for work! :) The market was all about haggling! They were so different than in Egypt. In Egypt they actually enjoyed it and were smiley and flirty but in Thailand they dropped their prices once and after that they made their minds and didn't drop them anymore. It was so weird and still the prices were sky high and no way we could have bought anything from there. A bit of disappointment since I enjoyed haggling in Egypt..
Oh, and At some point in the afternoon we decided to walk around in Chiang Mai and Emilie wanted to find this famous restaurant (which name I of course can't remember since I didn't really give a shit..). I didn't even like the food since it was way too spicy for me to eat..
