Xmas 2015 in UK

Yes, Xmas 2015. A year ago.. I'm a bit late with this..

Last christmas me and Steve spent in UK together with his family.

I wrote down all sorts of things that caught my eye from what was different or cute or weird or whatever..

First thing was friendliness. Everyone is just so friendly EVERYWHERE! On buses, taxis, supermarkets, pubs, stores anywhere. Unbelievable. Life would be so much better if that would be around me or anyone all the time.

Mad Friday is massive there! Most of the people go out to party and with their xmas sweaters! I didnt have one and I feel bad, I saw one so nice and I woulda wanted that one! I woulda felt stupid with one tho..

There were kids everywhere with reindeer antlers or elf socks or which ever clothing that fits to the theme. Here you don't see that. It's "nerd" to have or wear something like that. Which is sad that kids or teenagers think like that. It was like a thing there, everyone was dressed according to the xmas spirit.

Xmas lights, people don't have lights outside like we do here on balconies and around our threes etc. Nothing there. They are focused more on the inside where the houses are decorated very xmassy like!

Dog poop everywhere. You don't have it here, basically at all.

Cars drive like crazy. Ridiculous. When crossing a street you need to be super careful, they don't give you room. Here all or most cars let you walk across.

So many guys wore shorts even when it was a bit colder. Definitely an english thing.

Everything spins around pubs, eating and drinking. Gossiping and telling rumours. Who had a baby? When and where and with whom? Who bought the pub that was called that and now it's called this? A new restaurant has opened up at the center? That pub has a new owner? Who has moved to where and who's old place was that? What was the street called? or the area? Are they still together or not? Rumours rumous rumours..

No matter which day or which pub, football or not. Every place was packed. All the time. Way more men in the pubs than women.

Many young people were really violent or huligan type of guys.. Don't see that often here at all.

Lifestyle: pubs, football, beer, pub food or fast food.

Most might sound negative things but those were just things that caught my eye. Don't get wrong I love the place and the people! I love it so much!

I had the most wonderful xmas with a very special man! xoxo
